A DECISION FOR MY NATION

Come, O nation, let us make a decision with one mind today, Let all our efforts be focused on the tasks of yesterday.

Let us perform wonders on this day with courage in our heart, Let the desert of ignorance become a garden, a work of art.

Let this day be like winter, which prepares the earth for spring, Let the world turn into a paradise, let the birds start to sing.

Let all arms be raised to the heavens, and all heads be bowed, Let victory be for us all, let happiness be bestowed.

Let us educate our youth, and teach them to be wise and good, Let the orphans and the destitute be provided with food.

No matter how many obstacles we face, we will never falter, Let this day be a stepping stone to our progress, let it alter.

Ignorance has troubled us for so long, but no more, Let knowledge be our guide, let our minds explore.

Let those who have seen our foolishness, witness our glory, Let them see how we have changed, let them tell our story.

If each one of us shows courage and acts on this decision, Let us become heroes, renowned in every region.
